Indigenous Kids Summer Camp

Exciting News: We will be Holding an Indigenous Kids Summer Group: A 5-Week Therapeutic Day Camp Celebrating Culture and Connection

This August, Insight Psychological is proud to host Our Story, Our Way — a 5-week therapeutic day camp designed specifically for Indigenous and Métis children ages 8 to 12. Held at our South Edmonton location every Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this unique program offers a safe, inclusive space for children to explore culture, creativity, and connection through a strength-based, trauma-informed lens.

Rooted in Indigenous values and teachings, Our Story, Our Way blends expressive arts, storytelling, and land-based activities to foster emotional growth, cultural pride, and self-awareness. Led by Indigenous-informed staff and mentors, the camp prioritizes psychological safety, belonging, and community-building.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to support children on their personal and cultural journeys, offering healing and empowerment through guided activities and meaningful experiences.
