Insight is proud to announce that we have been certified four years in a row as a Great Place to Work® after a thorough, independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute® Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about their workplace experience.
Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (2023, Dr. Cory Hrushka)
We are thrilled to announce that our CEO, Dr. Cory Hrushka has been selected along with 14 other Albertans by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal! This medal is awarded to Albertans in recognition of significant contributions to the province.
Recognizing the challenges faced by many in accessing quality mental health care, Dr. Hrushka is passionate about giving back to our community. He has led Insight Psychological in: contributing various forms of resources to community mental health programs and initiatives; launching targeted mental health awareness and fundraising campaigns for charitable partners; providing tens of thousands each year in service fee relief for those who would otherwise not be able to access care; and participating actively in advocacy undertakings to promote mental, gender, and sexual health, decrease stigma of mental illness as well as increase diversification of funding and access to mental health care for all Albertans.

Alberta Business Awards of Distinctions (2021 Finalist, 2022 Winner, 2023 Finalist)
In 2021 Insight Psychological was named a finalist in the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction for best Small Business of the year! We are very proud to be one of 52 finalists among the amazing 270 applications across Alberta!
In 2022, Insight was selected as the winner of the Alberta Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Alberta Small Business Award of Distinction! There were a total of 273 applicants and 52 finalists.
In 2023, our team has been names as a finalist for the 2023 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction in the mentorship category! In the past 25 years, we have had the privilege of mentoring and nurturing the personal and professional development of a significant number of registered and provisional psychologists, practicum student therapists, students from multiple post-secondary programs, and of course, our own staff.
This particular award is especially significant to our team as it is an ode to Insight’s impact on improving the mental health of Albertans each and every day!
