Ricardo has a Masters of Arts in counselling psychology and over ten years experience in the mental health field. Working with a client centered approach, Ricardo utilizing components of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy to facilitate growth in individuals by exploring practical skills in developing insight, self-awareness and creating effective change.

Ricardo is able to provide psychological counselling and assessment services to children, adolescents and adults utilizing best practices and his extensive experience working with individuals with coping difficulties, identity issues, addictions, mental health issues, and cultural sensitivities. In addition to his counselling, Ricardo also helps advocate for better mental health by speaking at conferences, sitting on councils, working with family support groups and volunteering.
