I believe therapy begins with feeling understood, accepted, and supported. My goal is to create a warm and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, gaining insight into themselves, and moving toward meaningful change.

I work with adolescents, adults, families, and caregivers navigating challenges related to trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, neurodiversity, self-esteem, and life transitions. I approach therapy with curiosity and compassion, recognizing that every person’s story is unique and deserves to be met with understanding and respect.

NOTE: Our Practicum Intern (Student) Therapists offer reduced rates for counselling support. Please be aware that FEES WILL BE NON-REIMBURSABLE by Extended Health Care Benefit Plans.

More About Danielle Brozny

Beginning therapy can be a meaningful step, and I believe the therapeutic relationship plays an important role in creating space for growth and change.

I strive to provide a warm, respectful, and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, challenges, and goals. My approach to counselling is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that every person’s experiences are shaped by their own story. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand patterns, develop new perspectives, build coping strategies, and create meaningful steps toward change. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to support them in discovering what works best for them. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and adapt my work to meet each client’s individual needs. Depending on what a client is seeking support with, therapy may involve exploring emotions, thoughts, behaviours, relationships, past experiences, or developing practical tools to support emotional regulation and overall well-being.

My experience includes supporting adolescents, adults, families, and caregivers with concerns related to trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, neurodiversity, self-esteem, behavioural challenges, and life transitions. Through my previous work in behavioural therapy and child and youth trauma services, I developed a strong understanding of the importance of looking beyond behaviours and recognizing the emotions, experiences, and needs that may be underneath them. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those navigating overwhelming or difficult experiences. I value creating a space where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop strategies that support their goals. I believe that when we approach ourselves with curiosity and understanding, we create opportunities for growth, healing, and meaningful change. I would be honoured to support you as you navigate your own journey, whether you are seeking to better understand yourself, work through past experiences, manage current challenges, or create positive changes in your life.
