Nicole Donovan

Nicole Donovan

Registered Provisional Psychologist MC, Indigenous Practice Lead, (She/Her)

I work with school-aged children, youth, adolescents, and adults, including first responders. My counselling approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and person-centered. I have experience addressing ADHD, autism, bullying, diabetes distress, mood disorders, self-harm, social skills, and stress. With children and youth, I utilize play therapy to support the development of new coping strategies and adaptive behaviours. I also focus on parent-child attachment work to strengthen family relationships. For first responders, I use EMDR therapy and somatic interventions to help process trauma.

Please Note: For clients under 18, the first session with Nicole must be with the parent(s) before proceeding with the child’s session.

As a Métis Registered Provisional Psychologist, I provide culturally grounded support, walking alongside clients to explore challenges, reclaim wellness, and move forward with connection, understanding, and resilience.

Brittany Zabolotniuk

Brittany Zabolotniuk

Registered Provisional Psychologist B.A., M.A.

Prior to working as a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I worked as family specialist, family support, and worked in group home settings providing resources and strategies to children and families. During this work, I presented self-care presentations to colleagues. I also developed and facilitated a sports psychology program for competitive skaters, focusing on the nine mental skills of successful athletes.

After completing The Grief Recovery Method Training from The Grief Recovery Institute, my passion for grief and loss has brought me much clarity on my journey.  The freedom relationally, emotionally, and spiritually that comes from healing is unifying.

Grief is universal, and there are over 40 different types of losses. Whether you are experiencing a transition, new beginning, wanting strategies or resources to increase emotional regulation, I look forward to supporting. I work from a holistic integrative approach, integrating Polyvagal Theory, Grief Recovery Method, and EMDR.
