Arrival time for your session
We want to provide you with the full benefit of the appointment you have made with Insight Psychological. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled session to ensure your session starts on time and runs the full length of the appointment.
Deposit for Clients
To reserve a session with a therapist, Insight takes a deposit of half the cost of the session for clients. This applies only to your first session with Insight.

Insight offers direct billing through Telus Health for appointments with Registered Psychologists. Unfortunately at this time, Telus Health does not provide direct billing for sessions with Registered Provisional Psychologists or other therapists. (They are still covered but you have to pay then get reimbursed later form your insurance provider). We are working with various extended health care benefit carriers for direct billing to serve you better. Until that process is enabled, we require clients pay the full session cost up front and submit their receipts to their insurance for reimbursement independently. We will keep our clients updated as we get set up for direct billing with carriers. It is the client’s responsibility to know their coverage limits, and to personally pay fees beyond their coverage limits.
If you are unable to make it to an appointment, kindly provide us 24-hrs notice to change or cancel. You may cancel your appointment (assuming it’s not within 24-hours of the appointment time) through your online profile. Or, you can also phone, fax, or e-mail us to notify us of the cancellation. In the event of a late cancellation or no show, Insight will charge half the cost of the booked session.
