Insight Psychological Therapists - Delaney Kulak

Delaney Kulak, Registered Provisional Psychologist, B.A., M.C. (She/Her)
Starting or re-starting your healing journey can be difficult and scary. I provide individuals with a safe environment as they navigate difficulties they may be facing. I am passionate about working with youth and adolescents, parents and caregivers, adults, couples and seniors. I believe in client-centred, collaborative approaches to help individuals draw on strengths to align with their values and goals. I choose to use a diverse approach to therapy that uses a number of different modalities and methods that best fit your needs.
More About Delaney Kulak
My educational background includes completing my Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle and my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from MacEwan University. During my Master’s program, I worked as a family support navigator, providing resources and supporting adolescents and families. Much of my background has been working with children and youth, parents and caregivers, and seniors who have experienced grief and trauma.
As a therapist, conversations should be empathetic and real. I consider all areas of an individual’s life and use evidence-based methods to integrate several modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS
Have you, or anyone close to you, had to overcome any trauma, or mental health challenge?
I have been through my own therapeutic and healing journey for many years! I have dealt with grief and loss, familial issues, anxiety, depression and relational issues. I know how difficult this journey is, but it has been so worth it!
