More About Austin Leitch

Through starting as an apprentice in the construction industry, completing a bachelor of commerce degree and working in the public sector, and then pursuing a master’s degree in of counselling to work in mental health, my career journey has taken me through diverse roles. Over the last two years I have worked in the field of ketamine-assisted therapy. These experiences have equipped me with a broad understanding of the challenges people face in various aspects of life. Being a parent also adds another layer of insight and empathy to my practice, as I understand the unique pressures and joys of balancing personal and family life.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in solution-focused therapy (SFT) and person-centered therapy. I believe in working collaboratively with clients, focusing on their strengths and creating a path toward practical solutions. SFT helps us look forward and set actionable goals, while person-centered therapy ensures that you are heard and supported in a compassionate, non-judgmental space.

I strive to create a warm, down-to-earth environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself, knowing that I am here to listen, support, and help guide you through whatever challenges or transitions you may be facing.
