More about Ramona Kotke Gapp
I have provided individual therapy and group counselling for clients of all ages, all walks of life and from many different cultural backgrounds. I have provided treatment for, but not limited to, the following presenting issues: mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, social skills and assertiveness training, children/adolescents behaviour issues, emotional regulation, problem solving/conflict resolution, self esteem, communication, life transitions, and stress management.
I specialize in the needs of children and their families. I utilize a client-centered, strength-based approach and employ many evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and social skills training. I believe that parents are a child’s first best teacher, so I strongly encourage parents to grow with their child, and I draw from my own experiences as a mother to add authenticity to sessions. My philosophy is to meet the client where they are, and I am passionate about empowering people to attain their therapeutic goals. I look forward to meeting you!
