More About Lynn Hutchinson

When a person feels pain and stress in their life, it is not uncommon for them to feel lost and scared.

My passion is to bring meaning and healing to people who have experienced trauma and/or loss because of a separation, divorce or a traumatic emotional experience. I help parents and families to manage their relationships differently, find healthy ways to resolve their issues, and find resolution. I believe people want healthy relationships with others and to feel complete and whole. I believe issues can be resolved by changing how we communicate with the other person. I believe in creating a safe environment for people to be heard, understood and acknowledged.

As a client-focused and strength-based therapist I help people deal with loss, anxiety, parenting issues, unresolved emotional issues and relationship/ family concerns help parents and families to manage their relationships differently, find healthy ways to resolve their issues, and find resolution. A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS:

What is your favourite quote?

Winnie the Pooh: “If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.”

What has been the most satisfying part of being a psychologist?

The most satisfying part of being a psychologist being given the opportunity to sit with a person and be present. To hear their stories and help them heal.
