Therapist or preacher?

Ask A Therapist OnlineTherapist or preacher?
James asked 13 years ago

Hello, my life started rough with my father murdering my mother than sitting beside her as the house burnt up around them, I was nine then, 28 now, but understood and was told exactly what happened. A few weeks ago my older and closest brother shot himself. I have been dealing with many emotions and I have realized that if I am to move on I must forgive. I am not deeply religious but believe in religion . I need someone outside of my family to talk to but I am torn between a therapist and a preacher. Thank you for your time and concern.
