Have been researching counseling for about a month now. Should I see a counselor alone or with my common-law? We have been together for 10 years and have been going through the same cycles of relationship issues for about 3 years now. How do you decide to hold on or let it go?

I would recommend seeing a counselor together. It is beneficial to have both people’s perspectives in the room. However, if you do decide to go alone, it is possible for even one person to make a change.

While you wait to see a counselor, I recommend signing up for free email advice. Take a look at the following link; http://www.marriagemax.com/free-marriage-advice.asp
