Perinatal Nutrition Services

Perinatal Nutrition Services

At Spring Reproductive and Perinatal Wellness, we believe in providing mindful dietitian services that are catered to your body and wellbeing. There are a variety of benefits from seeking support from a dietitian.

Nutrition for Fertility

Our bodies’ hormones and functioning are related to the food we consume. For both men and women, proper nutrition can lead to increased fertility by supporting hormone balance, improving egg and sperm quality and regulating ovulation. Our dietitians can help to support you in creating a dietary plan that best suits your body’s needs and fertility goals.

Nutrition for Pregnancy

As a fetus grows, it is essential that the nutrients a pregnant individual consumes can support both their own health and the baby’s development. Pregnancy is a time of incredible growth and change, directly related to nutrients like iron, calcium, protein, folate and iodine. These nutrients are important for fetal development and help to maintain energy and overall health during pregnancy. Our dietitians can provide guidance on managing common pregnancy challenges, such as food aversions, cravings, and gestational diabetes, ensuring you and your baby thrive throughout this special time.

Postpartum Nutrition

After childbirth, your body enters a recovery period that requires extra care and nourishment. During this time, the proper nutrients can support healing, boosting energy levels, and aid in milk production if you’re breastfeeding. Our dietitians can help you navigate postpartum nutrition with meal & snack planning alongside guidance that prioritizes nutrient-dense foods like proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, dairy, fish, seafood and healthy fats. Our goal is to help you feel your best as you adjust to life with your new baby.

General Nutrition

Nutrition is a vital component of health and wellbeing no matter the stage of life you are in. Whether you are a growing child, an expectant parent, or a busy adult, the food you eat impacts your energy, mood, and overall health. Our dietitians are here to help you build a sustainable and balanced approach to eating that supports your unique needs and goals.

We are committed to helping you thrive! Please contact us to learn more about our services.
