Aspergers Disorder

Asperger’s Syndrome is on the Autism Spectrum and causes communicational impairments and repetitive behaviour, and difficulties with social interaction. The standard age for an Asperger’s diagnosis is between 4 and 11. There is no cure, however therapeutic intervention aimed at the symptoms of Asperger’s can have positive effects.

Behavioural therapy is just one of the many treatments for those diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. This can help with sensory and communication problems, as well as repetitive behavior. However, in order to determine the best course of treatment, an assessment must be done.
