Short Biography for Cory Hrushka Psychologist and Sex therapist
Edmonton and surrounding areas have been privileged with having the one of two actively practicing certified sex therapists in Alberta. Mr. Hrushka is the only certified sex therapist in Edmonton and surrounding area. Cory has been a Registered psychologist for the last 10 years and specializes in sexuality.




Mr. Hrushka qualifications in the area of sexuality include the following:

  • AASECT Diplomate in Sex Therapy
  • AASECT Certified as a Sex Therapist,
  • AASECT Sex Therapist Supervisor
  • IASHS approved and trained Clinical Sexologist
  • IASHS approved Associate in Sex Education

He is or has been involved with American Association of Sex Educators, Counsellors and Therapists, The Alberta Society for the Promotion of Sexual Health and Alberta Council of Professionals in Sexual Health -ACPSH – SHAG. Mr. Hrushka has also worked in with sexuality issues in within Alberta The Edmonton Maximum Security Institution, the Women’s prison, Edmonton Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, has been involved in numerous high profile cases and has regularly consulted with government organizations surrounding specialized sexuality casework
