Vocational Interest and Development

Your company can increase its probability of hiring well-suited candidates by using the additional information gained through vocational interest and development assessments.

A well-designed pre-employment assessment program will allow the employer to determine a potential candidate's personality fit, efficiency level, sustenance level as well as his/her interest level in comparison to what is required by each particular position.

A well suited employee (interest, personality, fit, capabilities, potential) is more likely to maintain a long term productive employment in comparison to one that is not well suited. This will directly allow for the reductions of costs for re-hiring or re-training.

Job Task Performance and Achievement Testing

Successful operation is very much dependent on its employees’ efficiency and productivity. Insight can assist the process by assessing the overall performance level of existing employees as well as the achievement potential of prospective employees.

Some of our assessment instruments include tests of physical hand to eye co-ordination, speed, perceptual and conceptual shifting, memory, learning and intelligence potential. These assessments will allow your company to:

  • review an employee’s existing capabilities (eg. dexterity, speed, specific skills)
  • compare an employee’s capabilities against the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology set standards
  • use the data gathered as bench mark for setting performance standards if there is none in existence
