Deb is currently a Registered Provisional Psychologist, Marital and Family Therapist, and has been working with individuals, couples and families since 1989. She has extensive history working with adults, children and adolescents with mental health, emotional, trauma and behavioural issues, as well as in in family and crisis intervention.  Deb’s many years of education and experience have allowed her the opportunity to conceptualize a great deal about human interaction, and she applies these foundational understandings in every aspect of the therapeutic process. Deb’s primary approach to therapy is from a Cognitive-Behavioural perspective, combined with theoretical underpinnings of family systems therapy (Bowenian Therapy) and techniques supported through Brief Solution-Focused interventions. She also speaks at several conferences and workshops throughout Alberta and is a certified instructor in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Deb is also EMDR certified.
