Brooke Hendricks - M.Ed. Registered Psychologist

Brooke Hendricks

Brooke completed her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta. She is passionate about helping clients develop their internal resources and empowering them to connect to resources in their communities.

She uses a primarily client-directed, outcome informed approach, and draws techniques from multiple theoretical orientations including Cognitive/Behavioural Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapies. She is a certified Massage Therapist and, as a result, also has a strong interest in the connection between body and mind.

Brooke works with individuals experiencing a range of difficulties including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress management, anger management, domestic violence, victimization, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss. She has a special interest in working with survivors of childhood abuse. She has experience working with adolescents in a residential treatment centre as well as female inmates in the federal corrections system.

Brooke also has an interest and experience in psychological assessment. She provides psychological, forensic, educational, behavioural, career, and parenting assessment services to children, adolescents and adults.
